Steam VR is still a clusterfuck: You need to start Steam VR, have a Headset on, press the menu button, open the settings, get to controller settings -> change the binding for the game Doom VFR -> use the binding for smooth turning on the right analog sticks. Apparently you have to change the bindings in game using the console afterwards.
Quest 2 is the same price and has: Higher resolution, mobile capabilities, PCVR capabilities both wired and wireless, 120hz support, and continued support. If it says Rift, it's compatible with a Quest, when you use it as a PC headset. I haven't found a single game I couldn't play on Quest. And even if it doesn't say Rift it's still compatible

I’ve realised opening steamvr on my rift s just makes it retarded so using that program makes loading times quicker for steamvr games and makes them reliable enough not to crash.
