Here is what you have to do: - Activate compatability mode for Windows XP on your CoD2MP_s.exe. - Actiavte administrator rights on your CoD2MP_s.exe. - copy all steam.dll and/or steam2.dll files from you steam folder to your. \Steam\steamapps\common\Call of Duty 2 folder. - You are done. 2. Go to your C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\Common\Call of Duty 2\ and paste the two files there. 3. Now that your in the Call of Duty 2 directory, right click your Cod2MP_s.exe and go to compatability tab. 4. Change the compatability to Windows Vista SP 2 and check the box at the bottom that says " run as administrator". 5. Single player launches fine, and I have already tried verifying the files. If I click on the multiplayer icon on desktop or directly on the multiplaye .exe an hourglass appears and disappears, that's it. Since nothing was working anyway, I tried deleting the multipalyer config file, and that didnt work.
