It also seems that even when the heart rate monitor is "functioning" the stress and body battery readings are completely thrown off. I have invested a lot in garmin over the years, but I am very disappointed with this current lack of performance. Please help, before I am forced to start exploring the world beyond Garmin!

Ok. The HRM-Tri can't pair with your phone or Connect. It only works with a watch or bike computer. It looks like the 830 comes bundled with a HRM-Dual which also got bluetooth so it can connect to your phone but not Garmin Connect since Connect doesn't support any other HRMs than HRM-Pro. You need to use some other app like Strava och Zwift

Had the HRM Run, after 9 months it died so got a warranty replacement/upgrade to the HRM Pro, about a year later it died. Chatted with support a few days ago and because I already had a warranty replacement they sold me an HRM Pro Plus (whatever the new one is) for $70… hoping it lasts more than a year.
The other two just stopped working. With the latest firmware update (7.4), if I remove and replace the battery, the unit works for between 8-10 minutes and then stops. I can replace the battery and have it work for anyone 8-10 minutes.
HRM-PRO dropping out since firmware update in late July early August. Has anyone else noticed that their HRM-PRO has been loosing it's connection/stopped recording over the last couple of weeks? My hrm pro was connected fine to my connect app up until a few days ago then it stopped working. So I unconnected them. Now when trying to reconnect the app can't find the HRM pro . The Bluetooth isn't showing up. Is there anything I can try?
