Citroen C4 Picasso gearbox fault, and no power on the OBD port Fault finding and repair.
The diagnosed the fault as " somthing breaking up in the actuator" There was debris in the oil in the actuator tank. Result new actuator £950. The garage contacted Citroen because the age and mileage of the car and the problem started just out of warranty. Upshot the nice people at Citroen are replacing the actuator for a large discounted price.
Hi all, new to the group. My c4 has developed the same abs problem that tronic had. The fault code indicates that the right rear speed sensor is at fault. I changed the sensor but the fault is still there. I am thinking that the abs sensor wiring is at fault. Can anyone tell me where the sensor wires terminate? Is it possible to get a wiring
It's 11 years old so I have no idea how old the battery as I only bought it a year ago. I had a Gearbox Fault today. That was a new one. Came on with the ignition, switched ignition off and on and the fault cleared. On the subject of batteries. How the hell do you get it out? (1.6 HDi)
Visited Marsh Citroen yesterday was loaned a Xsara Picasso diesel which was just an old runabout but I had a Exclusive model previous to the C4 so not a problem and it was better than shanks pony ! Our car was tested for 9 miles by Dave and we then drove the 40 odd miles home NO PROBLEMS it seems to be cured but will keep everyone informed.
We had a diagnostic done at the dealer and have asked the dealer in France for a full report of the work carried (in particular a written report on the problem they noticed the second time around), and there are currently around 20 codes up on the computer : c1335 RR rh wheel speed sensor. c1336 RR speed sensor ABS.
